The Holton Community Center is a nondenominational, nonprofit Christian center in downtown Holton, Michigan that provides compassion, understanding, and assistance with food, clothing, and other necessary resources. As a core outreach program in a virtually “isolated” rural community of West Michigan, HCC serves our neighbors in need as a collaborative project of area churches and community volunteers.  We are affiliated with Love Inc.   Together, we seek to be “the Hands of Christ to the Holton community.

Who we are: Our Vision

The Holton Community Center is a church/community partnership that engages the community so that all neighbors find their basic physical and spiritual needs met with love and compassion.

What we do: Our Mission

The Holton Community Center functions as “the Hands of Christ” to gather area resources to meet our neighbors’ needs for food, clothing, and spiritual growth in a manner that builds independence and community service.

Why we do what we do: Our Core Values

We believe:

  • God leads our ministry.
  • In the power of prayer.
  • Churches and community working together.
  • In being dependent on God.
  • Everyone has something to offer.
  • The goal of HCC is a relationship with Jesus Christ for all.

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” 1 – John 3:16-18 (NIV)
