Our Community

Holton Township, MI is a West Michigan township with a U. S. Census reported population of slightly more than 2500 people, with a median income for many households, especially those headed by 2 adults—slight above the national poverty level. Holton is a rural community with a rich tradition of neighbors helping neighbors, encouraging one another to personal responsibility and community engagement.

HCC wants to be a community partner beyond our Center services. We want to help our Holton neighbors be engaged with the Holton community. There are lots of opportunities.

The Holton Public Library, is another rich community resource.

And although Holton is a good distance from Muskegon, still there are more resources and just some great information that make life better and easier. There are lots of great resources such as the Muskegon County Public Health website.
